Jacqueline Kozin served as Deputy Campaign Manager for Ned Lamont’s successful 2018 election for Governor. Prior to Lamont, she served as Legislative Liaison and Director of Intergovernmental and Community Affairs for State Comptroller Kevin Lembo. She also managed his first two statewide campaigns for Comptroller. Kozin, known for her successful track record managing campaigns, is also a recognized national leader on women’s rights and serves on the national board of the National Organization for Women (NOW) and its PAC. She is the Founder and Chair of Ella’s List, a PAC dedicated to building a pipeline of progressive women candidates.

Denise Merrill has been a champion of protecting the privacy of Connecticut’s voters by standing up to the Trump administration’s Pence-Kobach Commission’s heavy-handed attempt to use voter registration information to fraudulently disenfranchise voters nationwide. As the most recent past-President of the National Association of Secretaries of State, and current chair of the Cyber Security Committee, Denise has made protecting the integrity of Connecticut’s, and the United States’, elections from foreign cyber interference her highest priority.

Jeff Currey, a lifelong resident of East Hartford and proud son, brother, and uncle, was re-elected to a second term in 2016 to serve the 11th Assembly District, which is made up of parts of East Hartford, Manchester and South Windsor. For the 2017-2019 term, Jeff has been named Deputy Majority Leader and appointed to the Appropriations, Education, and Judiciary Committees.

State Senator Saud Anwar was elected in February 2019 to represent the residents of the 3rd State Senate District towns of East Hartford, East Windsor, Ellington and South Windsor.

Saud was first elected to public office in 2011 as a member of South Windsor’s Town Council. He has served two terms as South Windsor mayor, once from 2013 to 2015 and once from 2017 to 2019.

If you cannot attent the open house, the South Windsor Democratic Town Committee meets the fourth Thursdays of each month, 7 PM, in the Council Chambers at the Town Hall. All South Windsor Democrats are welcome to attend.
