An activist since high school where Liz campaigned for South Windsor’s first Teen Center, she is driven by her belief in volunteerism. She is a community leader who approaches governance through common sense and innovation.

With the taxpayer in mind, Liz created the Capital Projects Account ordinance and the Tax Stabilization Fund to maintain town infrastructure and to balance the budget. She believes in smart economic development, support for our schools, and working within the town’s strategic development plan.

Her many areas of advocacy and involvement include, among many, affordable housing, Veterans Memorial Park, Pleasant Valley PTO, and Wood Memorial Library and Museum, where she is a yearly docent on Native Americans for third grade classes. Liz is employed by the town of Vernon.
